Veneers

This is a cosmetic procedure used to restore chipped or worn teeth, close spaces, cover staining, or change the shape or size of otherwise healthy teeth. A veneer is a custom crafted, thin layer of tooth-colored porcelain or ceramic.

Enameloplasty

This cosmetic procedure includes reshaping or recontouring the outer layer of the tooth in order to provide a smoother appearance. Imperfections in our teeth appear over time and are caused by grinding, biting hard foods, or general wear. Enameloplasty cosmetically restores teeth that may be lightly chipped, uneven, bumpy, or pointed.

Cosmetic Crowns

This is another cosmetic procedure used to restore chipped or worn teeth, close spaces, cover staining, or change the size and shape of otherwise healthy teeth. A crown is constructed of different materials, often ceramic or porcelain for aesthetic appeal and durability. This form of dental restoration provides stability and functionality, which enables biting and chewing without fracturing the tooth.

Microabrasion

Enamel microabrasion is a non-restorative treatment that removes discolored or stained tooth enamel through a combined chemical and mechanical process. This conservative treatment removes a small amount of tooth enamel and is an optimal choice when staining or discoloration is minor. For some patients, the tooth staining may exceed the functional limits of microabrasion, in which case a follow-up cosmetic procedure may be recommended.

Bonding

Bonding is a cosmetic procedure that bonds a tooth-colored resin material to the tooth using adhesive and a curing light, or laser, to correct discoloration or chipping.

Zoom Teeth Whitenening

Our team uses Philips Zoom whitening, an easy and pain free in-office bleaching procedure that takes approximately one hour to complete. The Zoom method begins with quick impressions that we’ll take to be used to make custom-fit bleaching trays. Zoom whitening uses a hydrogen peroxide whitening gel, and the process incorporates a unique light that penetrates the teeth to successfully break up discolorations and stains. An exam and regular cleaning are required before the procedure can be completed. Learn more about Zoom here.

Take Home Bleach

With this cosmetic procedure, patients will begin by scheduling a visit, during which we’ll take quick impressions that will be used to make custom-fit bleaching trays. The customized trays and five tubes of prescription-strength bleach will be sent home with you, and you’ll be instructed to bleach twice a day, for one hour each time, for two weeks. You’re encouraged to keep the trays and any remaining bleach to perform touchups thereafter as needed.
